Overview
The mash (distilling) column is designed to isolate ethanol and related impurities from the mash in the production of ethanol. The principle of operation of this column is based on the counterflow of liquid and vapor phases, followed by the release of distillate and bards (a brew freed from ethanol and accompanying easily volatile impurities.
