JSC "Moldovahidromash" is one of the largest manufacturers of pumps in Eastern Europe. Within the CIS, the enterprise continues to be one of the main manufacturers and designers of chemical, sewage, marine, circulation, special and other electric pumps. The pumps produced are used in the chemical industry, in oil refineries, in the metallurgical industry and in other industries. The Chisinau Hermetic Pump Plant was established in 1957 and is located in the industrial zone of Chisinau. On December 29, 1992, the enterprise was reorganized into a joint stock company, the authorized capital of which is US $ 4.3 million and 100 percent is distributed between individuals and legal entities of the Republic of Moldova
