Overview
Pumps with a magnetic coupling, unlike other chemical pumps, have a significant feature - the design of these pumps does not use a mechanical seal, gland or other sealing element of a similar type. The drive of the working body is carried out using a magnetic field, the working chamber and the drive shaft are separated by a fixed casing made of chemically resistant material. This eliminates the possibility of fluid leakage from the working chamber. The magnetic coupling is not afraid of solid particles in the liquid, there is no possibility of leakage, which is important when pumping chemically active and explosive liquids. Unlike pumps with a mechanical seal, pumps equipped with a magnetic coupling do not require maintenance (which saves money and time).
