Inert balls with a high content of aluminum oxide 50 mm
Overview

A ball with a high alumina content is an ideal product for use at high temperatures and steam conditions.
Inert balls with 99% aluminum oxide content, equivalent to Denstone 99. It has a chemical composition of 99 +% alpha alumina and a maximum of 0.2 wt.% SiO2. Due to its high alumina content and low silica (SiO2) content, it is an ideal product for use at high temperatures and in steam installations, such as secondary reforming plants for ammonia processing, where leached silica covers further equipment or contaminates the catalyst ball.
High Alumina 99% has excellent thermal abilities, due to its high density, high temperature resistance of 1550℃, and is also a good choice for heat retention or balancing media.
Due to its good chemical resistance, it is suitable for use in olefin production processes, such as ethylene desiccants, where there is a polymerization problem.
