Pump description

Horizontal centrifugal pumps for pumping acids and alkalis of polymer have a robust housing and an inspection window for checking the condition of the mechanical seal.
Shaft the pump, on which the open-type impeller is fixed, is integral with the electric motor shaft. The mechanical shaft seal is located behind the impeller.

MB-80, MB-100

Principle of operation

Integral impeller with shaft and direct drive motor rotates at a set speed and, creating centrifugal force, ensures the suction of liquid through located in the center of the pipe, and the supply through the outlet.

MB-110, MB-120, MB-130

Working conditions

There are two configurations with different mechanical seals:
TL=LIP SEAL (polymer): for light duty use;
TS=BELLOW SEALS (PTFE with Silicon Carbide and Ceramic O-rings): for more severe operating conditions and for very dirty liquids.
The ability to choose the material of the pump components allows ensure the most correct chemical compatibility with the fluid and /or environment, taking into account temperature.

Installing the pump

The axis of horizontal centrifugal pumps of the MB series during installation must be exclusively horizontal way, and the height of the liquid column is above the suction pipe of the pump. Nessesary to use special devices to prevent dry running of the pump, the formation of vortices and possible suction air.
