Fuel oil pumps

Bitumen pumps are designed for the purpose of pumping viscous or amorphous substances. The equipment is intended primarily for substances of organic origin. There are several types of similar units created for different types of mixtures depending on their type and viscosity.
Since fuel oil has a significant viscosity, it is heated before pumping. Thanks to this, it becomes more fluid, which makes working with it easier. That is, pumping equipment must not only cope with fuel oil as such, but also work effectively with high-temperature substances.
Fuel oil pumps are widely used in heat power engineering for supplying fuel oil to boiler houses, heating residential premises and heating water, shipping for bunkering ships, powering thermal generators as a source of energy in boiler houses.
According to its physical properties, fuel oil can be low-viscosity or high-viscosity. High viscosity is characterized by the presence in its content of a large amount of paraffin and other resinous substances. Viscosity decreases with increasing temperature.
Areas of application of pumps for pumping fuel oil: Power supply of boilers; Heat supply; Transportation, loading, unloading, dumping; Refueling of diesel locomotives and motor ships.
