The pump for a biogas plant (BGU) is an important part of its equipment. In a closed environment, pumps provide pumping of manure or organic substrate through various reservoirs. Just like other mechanical equipment of the biogas plant, the pumping system uses external energy only during the initial startup of the installation. When the gas storage tank (gas holder) collects a sufficient amount of biogas, the pump begins to operate on its own energy.
