Microfiltration
Microfiltration units on microfiltration membranes allow larger particles to pass through. During filtration, a lower pressure is required and these membranes cannot be used for concentration. When microfiltration membranes are used at a higher pressure, they stop passing larger particles and, with increasing pressure, pass into the discharge of ultrafiltration membranes.
