Lessing's ceramic ring is a nozzle designed mainly of Raschig ring with baffles inside to increase the surface area and transmission efficiency. It is usually widely used for support seal at the bottom of the column. It has high density and excellent acid resistance and can withstand the corrosion of various inorganic acids, organic acids and organic solvents except hydrofluoric acid.

Lessing's ceramic ring has excellent acid resistance and heat resistance, it can resist high temperature, acid (except HF), alkali, salt and various organic solvents. It is widely used in drying column, absorption column, cooling tower, scrubber and regeneration column among chemical, metallurgy, gas and environmental protection industries. Lessing's ceramic ring can also be an important heat transfer medium used in heat transfer system, regenerative oxidiser (RTO) system.
