Ceramic Raschig ring, Raschig ring nozzle, ceramic irregular nozzle.
Raschig rings are an excellent nozzle for distillation columns due to their extremely high surface area and constant, well-defined large void space. The advantage of using Raschig rings as a distillation column nozzle is that they are an inert type of nozzle, so you don't have to worry about filling the column too tightly, which could lead to clogging. Raschig ceramic ring is one of the earliest developed random nozzles, whose structure is simple, height and diameter are the same.
Advantages of ceramic Raschig rings: has the characteristics of excellent acid resistance and heat resistance. It can resist corrosion by various inorganic acids, organic acids and organic solvents other than hydrofluoric acid and can be used under high or low temperature conditions. Thus, the application range is very wide.
Application of the irregular nozzle of the Raschig ring: widely used in metallurgy, chemical industry, fertiliser, sulphuric acid, gas, oxygen, pharmacy washing towers, cooling towers, acid regeneration towers, desulphurisation towers, drying and absorption towers.
