Polypropylene nozzle Biopack SF # 30 works successfully in more than 100 bacterial filters. With over 300 mixing and redistribution points for both air and water per cubic foot of media, Bio-PAC is capable of redistributing wastewater every 2 inches of media depth. This feature makes Bio-PAC ideal for shallow jet filters.
Biopack SF #30 is also widely used in ascending anaerobic and aerobic submerged bed reactors. Since the carrier floats, the use of a bottom drain support is eliminated. In addition, Biopack's unique form serves as a defoamer when installed in anaerobic reactors.
