Condensate drains
Steam traps - a type of valve that is designed to prevent condensation from entering sharp steam, prevent the occurrence of hydraulic shocks and loss of steam energy potential.
The principle of operation of steam traps is based on different physical properties of condensate and sharp steam (different densities).
Steam traps according to their design features and application requirements are divided into:
- float;
- thermodynamic parameters;
- thermostatic;
- bimetallic.
They are made of carbon or stainless steel, cast iron.
