A large group of so-called double-sided inlet pumps is located under the brand of pumping equipment denoted by a large letter "D".
A characteristic feature of this type of pump is the way of supplying the working fluid to the impeller. In contrast to cantilever pumps, in double-inlet pumps, liquid is supplied to the impeller from both sides, thereby compensating for the axial pressure on the impeller.
This design guarantees the normal operation of the pump at high flow rates and pressures.
This type of pump is in demand in almost all industries, from agriculture (water supply to canals, irrigation, irrigation) and ending with water supply to villages and cities.
The pump casing is made of gray cast iron, a special version is made of steel or bronze. The impeller can also be made of cast iron, chromium-nickel steel or bronze.
The impeller is mounted on a shaft with two bearing supports, which significantly extends the service life of the unit. The design of the pump provides the possibility of its repair right at the installation site, without dismantling the electric motor and the housing itself.
To seal the working chamber of double-inlet pumps, it is used as a stuffing box packing and mechanical seals.

The pump resource before repair is about 20 thousand working hours, and the efficiency reaches 88%.
Pumps and units are not intended for operation in explosive and fire hazardous premises.
