Steam boiler pumps, feed pumps

The feed pump is an important element in the system for ensuring the operability of a steam boiler. The main task of the pump is to maintain a constant water supply (boiler feed) as steam is consumed.
The pump used in the boiler feed system must have a capacity and pressure margin of 20% percent relative to the nominal parameters of the steam boiler.
The feed pump must maintain a stable flow rate and pressure, have high maintainability, reliability, and efficiency.
At the overwhelming majority of heat supply enterprises of small and medium power, vertical multistage pumps are used as feed pumps. Pumps of this type provide uninterrupted supply at constant pressure, are equipped with highly efficient economical electric motors, the liquid end is made of stainless steel, a cartridge mechanical seal is used, which, if necessary, can be replaced in a matter of minutes.
