Medium aluminium oxide inert beads are widely used in many industries including petroleum, chemical engineering, fertiliser, natural gas and environmental.
They are used as coatings and catalyst auxiliaries in reaction vessels and as bulk packing in columns. They have stable chemical properties and low water absorption rates, and are resistant to high temperatures and high pressures, as well as corrosion by acid, alkali and some other organic solvents. They can withstand temperature changes during the manufacturing process. The main role of inert ceramic beads is to increase gas or liquid distribution spots and to maintain and protect the activating catalyst with low strength.
