Ceramic Structured Packing



Ceramic structured nozzle, ceramic corrugated nozzle, ceramic lightweight nozzle, ceramic nozzle.
Corrugated sheets arranged in parallel form cylindrical blocks called a structured column nozzle. This is a form of high performance nozzle with separation efficiency several times higher than that of a bulk nozzle. They have the quality of low pressure drop, increased operational elasticity, minimal amplification effect and maximum fluid handling compared to bulk nozzle.
Application of ceramic structured nozzle:
- rectification of organic halides;
- rectification and absorption of some aggressive mixtures, which are certainly regulated by the pressure drop and and the theoretical number of purification stages;
- used in columns containing large quantities of natural media, used for the absorption of nitric acid and concentrated sulphuric acid, and for air purification in chemical plants;
- operation under vacuum conditions at a lower absolute pressure of 100pa;
- used in heat exchanger and purification or as a catalyst carrier or as a catalyst carrier.
Advantages of the ceramic structured nozzle:
- High throughput. A new column design can reduce the diameter, while refurbishing old columns can significantly increase throughput.
- High separation efficiency. As it has a much larger specific surface area compared to an irregular nozzle.
- Low pressure drop, resulting in significantly reduced energy consumption.
- Suitable for all column diameters.
- High corrosion resistance to acids and alkalis, especially to H2S, naphthenic acid and Cl.
