Intalox saddles can be used in drying columns, absorption columns, cooling towers, treatment columns and activator columns in the chemical industry, metallurgical industry, coal gas industry, oxygen production industry, etc.
The super intalox ceramic seat has excellent acid and heat resistance. It can resist corrosion by various inorganic acids, organic acids and organic solvents, with the exception of hydrofluoric acid, and can be used under high or low temperature conditions. Consequently, the range of applications is very wide. The nozzle can be used in drying columns, absorption columns, cooling towers, treatment towers and activator columns in chemical industry, metallurgical industry, coal gas industry, oxygen production industry, etc.
Benefits of the super saddle nozzle:
- These super saddles are made of chemical porcelain and have excellent resistance to acids except hydrofluoric acid;
- Moisture absorption should be less than half a per cent;
- The specific gravity of porcelain is 2.3-2.4 g/cm3 and the average heat capacity (from 20℃ to 500℃ 0.22 cal/g.℃);
- The softening temperature of Super Intalox ceramic seats is 1400℃ min. And they show good thermal shock resistance during repeated cycle from 20℃ to 820℃.
