Mechanical Seal R-7K/ R-7K-U – single, independent of shaft rotation direction, with a circular cross-section sealing ring, unbalanced. A key feature is the use of a wave spring and a short installation length. It can be installed either externally or inside the medium. It is fixed to the shaft using hex head screws. Stationary rings are available in type CC (shortened length) and CL (extended, with a slot for a locking pin).
Used with viscous, abrasive liquids and with products prone to crystallization and sticking. In particular, in rotary lobe pumps Mengin, Omac.
