Inert Balls with 99% Aluminum Oxide Content, 99%AL2O3 Inert Alumina balls



High alumina ball, 99% AL2O3 ball, high aluminium oxide ceramic balls, alumina balls.
The high alumina ball is an ideal product for high temperature and vapour applications. Inert balls with 99% aluminium oxide content are equivalent to Denstone 99. It has a chemical composition of 99+ % alpha aluminium oxide and a maximum of 0.2 wt% SiO2. Due to its high alumina content and low silica (SiO2) content, it is an ideal product for high temperature and vapour applications such as secondary reforming units in ammonia processing where leached silica coats downstream equipment or contaminates the catalyst bed.
High alumina 99% has very excellent thermal properties, due to its high density, high temperature resistance of 1550℃, and is a good choice for heat retention or equilibrating media. Due to its excellent chemical resistance, it is suitable for use in olefin production processes such as ethylene desiccants where polymerisation is a problem.
