Rotary shutter (disc flap) - a type of reinforcement where the working element is made in the form of a disk.

The disk is fixed on the shaft axis perpendicular to the movement of the process medium. The shaft is directly connected to the outside and connected to the drive (handle-lever).

Disc dampers are used to block the movement of the medium in pipelines of large diameter, with low pressure. Mainly, disc dampers are used as shut-off bodies (where there are no strict requirements for sealing working media).
