When using drum pumps for a long time, it becomes necessary to replace some spare parts. As a rule, these are ordinary cuffs (seals).

Before you start replacing spare parts, you need to rinse the barrel pump by pumping cleaning liquid through it. The barrel pump should also be checked for leaks every 40 hours of operation. The drum pump impeller must be cleaned every 200 hours of operation. All these manipulations must be carried out by specially trained specialists.
