Pumps with magnetic coupling are dynamic centrifugal pumps, the impeller of which is driven by a magnetic field. Thanks to this feature, the pump does not use mechanical and oil seals, which account for up to 90% of pump failures.

It is especially important to use such pumps for pumping aggressive liquids such as acids, alkalis, and solvents.

In addition to the undeniable advantages, the drive with the help of a magnetic coupling determines a number of features of this type of pump:

• the pressure generated by the pump is relatively small from 5 to 15 m water.st. (0.5-1.5 bar);
• a small gap between the impeller cup and the magnetic coupling requires the use of a filter on the suction line to prevent jamming.
